To install ProFTP, its so easy on Centos:

y| yum install proftpd

Start ProFTP:

/etc/init.d/proftpd start

To add ProFTP to autorun:

chkconfig proftpd on

Add FTP account:

useradd USERNAME -g nobody -d /home/PATH -s /sbin/nologin
setting password
passwd USERNAME

Delete FTP account:
userdel USERNAME
